LAKE HILLIER, WESTERN AUSTRALIA ‘A WATER POND OF PINK COLOR

Pink is a beautiful colors, looks more amazing and beautiful not only in bubble or with girls but also in nature such as the flowers. Today we are going to tell an amazing pink colored lake known as Lake Hillier. It is situated on Middle Island (which is the largest of the Recherche Archipelago) off the south coast of Western Australia. The lake is very popular among locals and tourists due to its amazingly pink color.

Lake Hillier in Australia, which looks like a huge bubble gum watching from air through window of airplane, is not a small one and it covers the area about 600 meters in length and 250 meter in width surrounded by woodland and sand.

The swimming adventure of tourists remains incomplete because it is not allowed to anyone because of research doing by scientists. According to them the pink color comes from a dye created by halophilic bacteria. Anyhow visitors can admire tour only from helicopter rides. It is an expensive and only way but an excited one to enjoy amazing sightseeing of the amazing Lake Hillier. The helicopter service is provided from nearest town.

The Hillier Lake was first discovered in 1802 by the cartographer named Mathew Flinders. His mentioned entries in his journal are considered as very first written records. The lake was used to salt mining in past but now it is purely used for tourism. It is part of the protected area known as the Recherche Archipelago Nature Reserve.

The water of lake is clean and safe to swim and causes no harm to human skin but impossible to do as swimming in lake is not allowed. There are some other pink color lakes in the world even in Australia and Hillier Lake is not only one.

Loch Ness, Scotland

Loch Ness is a large storage of freshwater with over 700 feet depth and has a length of approximately 23 miles in Scotland, UK. It surface is 52 feet (16 meter) above sea level, connected at the southern end by River Oich. It is renowned for alleged sightings of the legendary Loch Ness Monster, also known affectionately as “Nessie”.
The Monters, who also known as water horse (but actually a large unknown animal), first come into news headlines in 1933, when it was reported by some people who saw something unusual creature in loch. One of the first most famous images of this animal was published in 1934. Whatever the truth about the river horse, the Monster (Nessie) is one of the most responsible items that bring a large number of visitors to Loch Ness.

Loch Ness is the second largest Scottish Loch after Loch Lomond and no doubt one of the most popular tourist attractions in Scotland. People from globe book tour to explore the Loch Ness which is one of many hidden Scottish lakes. There is an island in the lake known as Cherry Island, and which is a crannong, it is an artificial island that was constructed during Iron Age. Cherry Island is visible at southwestern end.
Loch Lomond is another top attraction among visitors, the largest of the lakes by surface and the famous for boating and water sports. There are 30 more islands in the lake which offers the modern sports such as golfing. The whole Scotland is known as a home of golf courses, because it has hundreds of golf courses, including some historical and renowned courses.

Cycling tours and hiking are other top attractions in Scottish lochs. Staying in hotels is no problems there are Glasgow hotels or Inverness hotels to stay. While Fort Augustus, Loch Ness Center, a museum, and historic lighthouses are other famous features that should never miss to watch.
