The Archives of Asia Africa Conference (AAC) 1955 Now As Heritage Memory of the World (MOW).

The efforts to file the archives of AAC as World Heritage Memories pursued since 2012 eventually succeeded. Because the Board meeting the UN's Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in October 2015 in Abu Dhabi has officially set the archive of AAC as Heritage Memory World (MoW). 

AAC archive is now properly stored in the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI). AAC records come in a variety of forms and media, ie as many as 565 sheets of photo archives, film archive as many as 7 reel and textual archive files or 1778 as many as 37 sheets.

"It  is very important for Indonesia's diplomacy. As Archive CAA as a World Heritage Memories marked the success of Indonesian struggle diplomacy," said the Head of the Museum, Thomas Ardian Siregar.According to Thomas, AAC produce a declaration Ten Principles of Bandung were the trigger for the Asian and African nations to fight for the rights of independence and sovereignty in Asia and Africa hemisphere.

 "Ten Principles of Bandung or often known as Spirit of Bandung also another milestone in the emergence of consciousness to establish NAM (Red: Non-Aligned Movement) and the Cooperation South - South. In the era of the Cold War, NAM contribute greatly to the counterweight and the tension triggered by the dominance of the West Block and Eastern Bloc, "added Thomas.

Thomas added, AAC archive has a significance and a very large international value. In the post CAA ,political map of the world changed. In Africa between the years 1960-1965 appear 34 independent states. In addition, dozens of Asian and African countries managed to become a UN member. This situation has restructured the United Nations, especially composition of representation of the countries of the Third World.

"In the process of nominating CAA archive, the Museum and the Directorate of Public Diplomacy Ministry of Foreign Affairs continues to coordinate with ANRI," said Thomas.
 
Thomas breaks down, there are three important coordination between the Museum and ANRI, namely the development of guidelines Archive CAA consultation between the Museum and ANRI in Bandung (18 to 20 April 2012), consultation and integration with the Museum collection and ANRI in Bandung (23-25 ​​May 2013), and a meeting between the Museum and ANRI in Jakarta (February 14, 2014).
