Indonesia today inherits from the Dutch colonization among others the institution of museum. Museum institution, currently, has not considered as the center of study and leisure by the majority of Indonesians. Despite this,the government has put much effort into making museums as part of education program.

            Visit Butterfly Park Gita Persada in Bandar Lampung, Lampung.

            Lampung has quite a lot of nature attractions from marine and beaches to National Parks. However, Taman Kupu Kupu, or Butterfly Park, Gita Persada offers a distinct destination of tourism in Lampung in term of nature-base tourism by presenting a re-engineered ecosystem as an attraction.In addition to being a place of conservation, the park is also the destination of nature and education tourism.

            It all started in 1997 when Dr Herawati Sukardi, Butterfly experts from University of Lampung (UNILA), pioneered a re-engineering project of critical land at the foot of Mount BetungDesa Tanjung Manis, Kelurahan Kemiling as a conservation area of various species of butterflies from Sumatera. What was done by Dr. Herath was actually bred in captivity and also managed to manipulate the natural habitat, by apllying Habitat Enrichment Technique,  bringing back butterflies, becoming an environment which is really suitable for the survival of the butterfly.

            Butterfly Park Gita Persada has approximately 180 species of butterflies. Here, it has already successfully bred 50 species including categorized rare and protected, namely: Troides Helena. Other species among others are Perut Merah, Limau Balak, Limau Halom, Limau Tutul, Kupu Hijau, Sirsak Biru, Sirsak Hijau, Ekor Pedang, Cacapuri, Johar Kuning, Kertas, Buntar, Daun Coklat, Widuri, Kepompong Emas, dsb.
            Butterfly Cage.
            The park is especially equipped with a big butterfly cage. The cage is used for rearing, growing and breeding butterflies. As a destination of  education tourism, many students, from kinder garden to university students, have made use of this park to find out how a butterfly metamophosis going through a  life cycle from the eggs to an adult butterfly.

            The park, under the management of by Sahabat Alam Foundation,  covers an area of 4 hectares at an altitude of 460 meters above sea level. There is a fairly large wooden house, which is home to the Butterfly Museum and a tea house. Inside the museum, ones can find hundreds of butterflies that have been preserved, butterfly paintings, wooden sculpture, and accessories for sale. The butterflies are placed in a glass case, complete with information about the type of each butterfly.

            The management also provides other facilities in the park area. The facilities include children playground, public toilets, three tree houses, and equipment for photo taking session. The park is open every day from 09.00 to 17.00 WIB; Ones can enjoy all facilities in the park for a charge of only Rp 10,000.0 or less than US$ 1 per person.

            When is the best time visiting the park? Butterflies flutter most freely in the park from January to march, though present beautifully and freely in other months of the year. So, the best month visiting the park is from January to March. Come and Enjoy the mother nature in the southern tip of Sumatra Island, particularly Taman Kupu Kupu Gita Persada.

            Culture & Heaven Underwater Papua Indonesia

            One example of traditional houses in Papua is called Honai. Honai is one of the indigenous Papuan house inhabited by the Dani tribe. The house consists of two floors namely the first floor as a bed and a second floor for a place to relax, eat and do crafts. The doors of Honai are very small, with no windows and roof made of grass thatch.

            Bali Ultimately Interesting & Notable : Bali, The Inspiration.

            Bali is one of the 17,000 islands that make up the Indonesian archipelago, well known worldwide as a premier tourist destination in Indonesia and even in Asia with its natural beauty, hospitality and diverse population of unique art and culture.

            Bali has an area of ​​5,653 square kilometers consisting of a plateau in the middle stretches of the eastern lowland westward with wider on the south side.             A Trip To Palembang: Total Solar Eclipse 2016

            The cloudy sky covered total solar eclipse 2016.
            I happened to have the opportunity joining the crowd in Palembang on March 9, 2016 watching Solar eclipse. Arriving the night before the celestial event gave me only little time making some preparation. Since Palembang is the city where I grew and spent my teen age, I had no problem finding a place to stay overnight.

            My problem was finding the viewing spot. In the morning, I arrived pretty late as the crowd already occupied almost the entire the bridge which was built in 1962 as the compensation to the loss of Indonesian from Japanese occupation. I struggled hard to reach the bridge as one kilometer away from the bridge all streets heading into the bridge were full with cars of all sorts as well as motor bikes. When I got to the foot of the bridge, the crowd already spilled into the water fountain, in front of the mosque of Agung, impossible for me weaving among the enthusiasts to find watching spot.

            An idea came into my mind, an ideal place might be along the river bank. I stepped back, then, and strolled along the outer side of the bridge moving toward the river bank. Again, my effort failed as so many solar eclipse enthusiasts also packed along the river bank. I, then, decided to rent as motor boat to take me to the middle of the river as my best watching spot. I had my perfect viewing spot then, exactly, in the middle of musi river.

            As time lapsed, to my disappointment, the sky was cloudy. Although my presence was in time for the total solar eclipse, it seemed the first contact already took place, the time when I got to the foot of the bridge, but covered by the cloud. The cloud coverage went on until the total solar eclipse.The moment of blackout in the ampera was lit by colorful lights and whistles played by the crowd on the bridge.

            Visit Festival Durian in Kampung Durian, Bandar Lampung.

             Lampung has a new tourist destination of ecotourism in Sumber Agung, District Kemiling, Bandar Lampung. Sumber Agung, District Kemiling, Bandar Lampung is appointed as Kampung Durian by the provincial government in order to support tourism industry in Lampung province.  

            A Durian Festival  will take place marking the soft launching of  the destination on  March 3, 2016 by the Governor of Lampung Ridho Ficardo.In this event there is a shared agenda to eat durian. To enliven the event, residents of the village of Sumber Agung presents 1000 durian-free basis to be eaten together. Besides, durian contest will be held to determine the best durian developed as superior seeds.

            Reasons behind the determination of Desa Sumber Agung as a tourist destination is the proximity of the durian village or Kampung Durian with some travel destinations around the foot of Mount Betung, Teluk Betung in Bandar Lampung is that deer sanctuary in Wan Abdurrahman People's Forest Park, Butterfly Park, and proximity to the city center.
