Indonesia today inherits from the Dutch colonization among others the institution of museum. Museum institution, currently, has not considered as the center of study and leisure by the majority of Indonesians. Despite this, the government has put much effort into making museums as part of education program.
The majority of big cities, however, has built museums by the Government of Indonesia under the sectoral program in the Ministry of National Education. Learn more on Indonesia and it's past by visiting museums across the country. For more information on museums in Indonesia, visit http://asosiasimuseumindonesia.org/
