Dinas Kebudayaan, DI Yogyakarta in collaboration with Culture Study Center of Gajah Mada University, along with Paguyuban Mertikarta, hosts Keris Summit 2015 in Yogyakarta from October 28 to November 1 2015. The Summit will take place in Vredeburg Fort and organized by Queen Production.
The event is the biggest keris exhibition featuring650 keris from Sumatra, Borneo, the Bugis, Java, Bali, and Lombok.Apart from exhibition, the event will also hold symposium on keris presenting a number of speakers from academics, artis, empu keris (keris makers), keris collectors and conservationists.
